Winter holidays = freetime.

We have no plans for Christmas, no Christmas tree, and no one is around to eat with us. We’ll eat some good food if I get it together tomorrow and go to the store. We do however have many goals for our free time this week, things we’ve been trying to get done for the last year.
1) winter purging and clean house (which is quite messy after a week of wheel-of-sickness) 2) babyproof (he figured out cabinets and drawers have all kinds of fun stuff in them) 3) organize finances and budget (oh so unorganized they are) 4) life insurance 5) wills 6) baby book and keepsakes 7) science blog for Chrissy 8) back up computers (before we start kicking ourselves and have a meltdown)
… and more we haven’t even nailed to the list yet.
We’re thinking of having a New Years Eve get-together of some kind. Kid-friendly of course. I wonder who’s in town?
